We go together like…
This Sweet and Sassy stamp set, “You and Me” is simply perfect for Valentine’s Day. Did I mention it was uniquely designed with you in mind?
I created this card by first stamping the background with the salt and pepper pair all over with VersaMark Watermark Ink. Once stamped I then embossed the pairs with white embossing powder. Being that I wanted to keep the salt and pepper pair the main focal point I also stamped them separately on plain white Classic Crest cardstock so I could color them; I used ColorIt Brand Alcohol markers for the coloring. To color the salt, I used a white Gelly Roll pen to create the appearance of salt in the salt shaker and a black Micron pen for the pepper. Once they were colored, I added Glossy Accents to the shaker portion of the bottles to make them appear rounded and dimensional. The Glossy Accents also helped to bring out the look of the faux salt and pepper in the bottles too!
Next, I stamped the sentiment on a matching piece of green watercolor cardstock and used the Heffy Doodle Strips of Ease to cut out the sentiment. I attached the green watercolor background with 2 inch Scor Tape to a standard A2, side fold, card base. For the focal point Salt & Pepper pair and the sentiment, I attached them to the front with foam tape for added dimension. The inside was stamped with VersaMark Watermark Ink, simply stating, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” and is embossed with matching green embossing powder.

This stunning Simon Says Stamp – SSS “Beautiful Flowers” stamp set is simply gorgeous and uniquely designed with you in mind.
I created this card by first embossing the flower image with white embossing powder on watercolor paper. I was really going for an emboss resist look however it didn’t turn out as expected. I’m thinking it was due to the intricacy of the stamp. Nevertheless, I decided to keep on keeping on. Once the focal point was complete, I was able to do a watercolor wash to highlight the colors of the flowers and leaves. After I completed the watercolor, I stamped the image again using the white embossing powder to provide additional dimension and depth. I used grey card stock with an iridescent matting for the card base. I popped up the focal point with foam squares and added pearl flat-back rhinestones for added dimension. The sentiment is stamped and embossed in black and popped up with foam squares too.

This fun-loving Technique Tuesday “Bobbi the Bear” stamp & die set is super versatile and uniquely designed with you in mind, or the best Dad ever, rather. 🙂
I created this card by first stamping Bobbi the Bear and the honey pots; I stamped the honey pots three times. I then colored the bear and pots using alcohol markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. The alcohol markers I used are the ColorIt brand markers, but I have since upgraded to Copic Ciao. Once the focal point was complete, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and embossed with Bronze embossing powder. I used brown card stock with a light brown matting topped with a marble velum page for the card base. I popped up the focal point with foam squares and added fall toned sequins for dimension. I also cut Bobbi the Bears claw so I could slide a honey pot into his hands. See below for a list of items used to create this beautiful card.
Can I get that Mix-Tape!
This throw-back Concord & 9th “Mix-Tape” stamp set is fantastic, and I love it!
I kept this birthday card super simple and to the point. I started by first embossing the cassette and tape image with black embossing powder on grey card stock. Once the focal point was complete, I was able to use a white Gelly Roll pen to color in the space on the cassette and the wheels of the cassette tape. I used light grey card stock and black card stock to mat the card base. I popped up the light grey matting with foam squares to add dimension.
Wow, if this card didn’t bring me straight back to the ’80s and ’90s!
